Project watermelon

I am attempting to grow baby watermelons this year. I had not planned to do so, but my neighbor kindly bought me a packet of seeds so I decided to give it a go. It’s not looking very promising, however. It is nearly mid-August and I have just one baby watermelon and it’s about the size of a marble. Any bets on whether or not we’ll be slicing into some delicious fruit before fall?
